I should be properly checking all unwraps which I'm almost certainly not doing as as Alex likes to say unwrapping things for Christmas. And, and also checking to see if the thread crashes and bringing it back to life spawning a new thread.

Summary
The ActivityPub bridge's notification thread died because Dave force-unwrapped values in Rust to skip error-checking logic until 'later'. The fix: properly check every unwrap, and watch threads and respawn them when they crash.
