Summary
Every few months someone asks whether the index should be marketed separately from the namespace, value for value and free speech. Dave says they can't be separated, because Podcasting 2.0 is just a solid form of what podcasting already is. Feeds are portable between hosts and you can self-host. The index only added an API and a downloadable database on top.
