Summary
Lightning wallet developers focus on a good Lightning experience and podcast app developers on a good listening experience, and the two don't mesh well. For a good podcast app, podcast developers should design it, with Lightning plumbing tucked behind, for example by linking to an external wallet like Strike through an API.
